Waiting...
I didn't think I'd be here today... I didn't think I'd have to wait... I thought it would come as a surprise and be sooner than this but... today, we wait...
I am exactly a week from my due date and I can't begin to explain what I feel these days... I used to think of it as happening unexpectedly and that was all there was to it, but I had never imagined going to bed each night and waking up every hour just waiting for something to happen...
I guess I hadn't thought of this part and had always imagined it happening differently. With that said, I'm also happy my baby is taking it's precious time to grow and nurture itself all that it can... The feeling of staring at an empty bassinet... knowing that next Wednesday you won't be alone in that room... it's unexplainable...
Despite all the thoughts about the actual experience I have to go through, I can't stop thinking about how the baby will gaze at me and how I'll feel looking back at it.
Besides all the uncomfortable feelings of the 39th week of pregnancy... the uncomfortable thoughts of what my body will have to undergo... I can't wait to meet you, my baby... I have never waited for anything more important... I have never realized what waiting feels like until now...

Letter to the Baby
I was thinking about writing a letter to my baby... and, I thought, what better way to do it than to post it in cyberspace, where our children will probably be living in 20 years. So, here it goes...
Dear Baby Benjamin or Nala,
Being pregnant has been such a weird, amazing, and, all at the same time, surprising experience for me. It started out with taking too many naps... then turned into confusion during mid-pregnancy, with not looking pregnant, but not looking not pregnant... and, now, it's become a part of my everyday... I feel you in the morning, in the afternoon, and mostly, in the evenings. My body has become something so precious for me that I can't imagine being without you. If I was in danger, I'd protect you first... and if my body became too much for the both of us, I'd leave it with you for you to have. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you have made me, as a human being, feel so invaluable that I feel like I am my own prized possession. Even though my feet look like the Nutty Professor's at times, I don't mind knowing that you are the cause of that. Because of you, I am okay with being Mrs. Nutty Professor and I know that when you're here... when you're a whole human being on your own... I will miss having you be a part of me, but, I will feel something so much more for you than I could put into words. As for your daddy, he's so excited that you'll be here soon... He wakes up every morning singing for you and trying to get one kick out of you before he has to leave for work. If you're a boy, I hope and pray you'll turn out just like him and, if you're a girl, I hope and pray you have most of his qualities because he's perfect to me, and, so are you... I love you already and can't wait to meet you.
Love,
Your Mommy

Eerren on Fancy That!
Hello All!
I am very excited to share with you my work, which has been used for an event planning/coordinating site by Christine Zohrabians. The company is called Fancy That! and they specialize in event planning and coordinating. I had hired Fancy That for my wedding day for day of coordination and, I have to say, it was so nice to know someone was there to take care of everything that I couldn't keep an eye on. I enjoyed my day because they were there and, now, I'm so happy to see that I could provide some of my talents for them to use. Good luck on all your ventures Fancy That!
